Project 52, week 22: Album Cover. I’ve had this idea of photographing my own eye for a long time now, but I never got around to doing it, because it’s highly impractical (since you can’t see what you’re doing). But for this week’s theme, I just had to give it a go!
BTW, “Things Unseen” is not an actual band (that I know of).
Setup:
70-200 w/ macro rings
Canon EX580II @1/8, 50mm, camera right, bare
Sigma EF-500 DG Super @1/8, 50mm, camera left, bare
Rolled-up sheet of white paper around lens, up to my eye (to prevent any reflections and to create a ‘softbox’). The lens’ reflection fitted nicely into my pupil. 🙂
