The Sämtisersee seen from a mountain called Hoher Kasten near Appenzell, Switzerland. We went to the Hoher Kasten on an overcast day and reached the summit while it was shrouded in clouds. After a while the skies cleared a bit, resulting in some really pretty ‘sunbursts‘.
This is an HDR image composed of three exposures, bracketed at one stop (-1, 0 and 1EV). After generating the HDR, I processed it some more in Lightroom — making it the most heavily post-processed image I’ve posted yet.
