The second instalment in our Project 52, a selfportrait. I had some moderate trouble getting the picture in focus (since I don’t have a remote), and some fun putting the two shots together — which actually is quite straightforward. I didn’t brush out the right side of my face (left side for the viewer), but rather overexposed it using flash. This left only some light outlines I had to brush out.
Setup:
Portait: Metz 48 AF-1 @1/2, 35mm, subject left, DIY snoot, into silver reflector on subject right
Canvas: Metz 48 AF-1 @1/32, 35mm, subject top left, DIY snoot
Flash triggered using optical trigger.
