Two Halves Don’t Make a Whole

Project 52, week 8: New Year’s Resolutions. Since I’d been drinking way to much coffee last year, I’d decided to drink less this year. I tried drinking half cups instead of whole ones, but that didn’t really work — the coffee kept pouring out. When I tried two halves to compensate for my lack of coffee while figuring out the cause, things only got worse. So now I’m back to whole cups, and no more mess!

Actually, I have no New Year’s resolutions. I just had this broken cup lying around, waiting for something to do with it.

Setup:
Sigma EF-500 DG Super @1/128 105mm, camera left, bare
Canon EX580II @1/32 105mm, behind subject right, w/ DIY snoot
Metz 48 AF-1 @1/64 53mm (106mm equiv.), above subject, w/ DIY snoot

Canon & Metz triggered using Cactus V5, Sigma as optical slave.
