Grey Ice

Project 52, week 7: Cold (Kou(d)). This isn’t actually ice tea, but rather frozen regular tea. A bit more postprocessing went into this shot than I planned; not least since Photoshop crashed when I was nearly finished, corrupting the file, and forcing me to start over, but also since I couldn’t get the lights and angle just right while the tea pot was still frozen over. I like the end result though. 🙂

Setup:
Canon EX580II @1/128 50mm, below subject
Sigma EF-500 DG Super @1/16 35mm, through 45″ umbrella, subject left
Metz 48 AF-1 @1/16 28mm, gelled Slate Blue, into background (translucent reflector)

Canon triggered using Cactus V5, Sigma & Metz as optical slaves.
