When Gerdi, my father-in-law and I arrived in St. Gallen, Switzerland after our journey by night train from Arnhem, my sister-in-law gave us a guided tour around town. One of the most remarkable places was Dreilinden, a public swimming pool consisting of three small lakes on a hill overlooking the city center.
