Under Pressure

Project 52, week 14: Pressure/Busy (Druk). This week’s theme Druk translates into both ‘pressure’ and ‘busy’. This image covers both translations; being (too) busy can really build up the pressure in your head!

It took some trial-and-error to get nice-looking steam, that flowed horizontally. You can’t just put a pot of water on a fire, but have to build up some pressure inside the pot. I eventually used a vice to keep the lid down and a piece of cloth to seal it.
